10:47 pm - SYTYCD So apparently Will and Katee will be the top 2. I think Mark and Comfort will be out this week even though I did like Comfort and Twitch's second number a lot. Does Comfort take Jessica's place all the way - as in, if Comfort gets voted off, that's the same as Jessica being voted off? Tomorrow night sounds like it should be good as well! P.S. (and not related) - I don't like Jello Pudding Pops as much as I remember liking them when I was younger. :(

08:31 pm - Kitchen I finally uploaded my kitchen cabinet pics.  I put them under a cut because I'm nice.  :)  It took me a total of 3 days.  The first day I only had 4 hours to work on it (did all the primer), the next 2 days was painting the black and doing a 2nd and some parts 3rd coat and putting the hardware on.  I then spent another 4 hours painting the walls, but I don't like them- they're too light.  I'll wait till the rest of the house is done before I repaint it.  ( Here ya go! )   Current Mood: content

01:44 pm - I REALLY played Wii last night for like 2 hours...I decided I need a Wii. My birthday is coming up, maybe Dad?!?! - SYTYCD has been amazing! Little sad for Thayne but it was the best choice last night. EFF'in pissed that Jessica is still there, but I disliked Comfort as well (although Ray and I agreed to disagree on her). Tyce's contemporary was FABULOUS!! Mia was DRUNK on Wednesday! - Senior Corps show this weekend. I'M EXCITED!!! - Carolina Crown is SO FUCKING FABULOUS!!! Just want to put that out there. That's it, I have to finish my lesson plans and then battle some zombie bitches on facebook!

09:16 am - How did I get here? When I was still living near Philadelphia and commuting 26 miles each way for work, I would often get lost in thought and not even realize it until I was exiting the PA Turnpike. It would occur to me that I had no recollection of my trip. Did I use my turn signals to change lanes? Did I check my blind spot? Did I drive at a reasonable speed? I never had an incident, but it was still a little unsettling. I remember the first time I did that here in GA. I went right past my exit. Now my commute is as routine as putting on my socks (which has been anything but routine this week but I'll explain that later). I found a way to avoid much of the traffic congestion that occurs at the intersection of two major highways, but it took me weeks to get used to the new route, so I would often find myself turning onto the highway then cursing myself 3 seconds later as I came to a complete stop. Today, as I was exiting the highway near my office, I realized that I had been totally lost in thought for much of my drive, and I didn't miss my exit. Yay! Regarding my socks ... I injured my back on Saturday at the gym. I swear I didn't do anything I shouldn't have been doing. I've spent much of the week flat on my back and actually went to the doctor on Tuesday to get some muscle relaxers and painkillers. I came into the office yesterday and my boss sent me an email at 6 p.m. telling me I looked like crap and I shouldn't come into the office today. I wish I'd checked my work email sometime between 6 pm yesterday and 7:30 am today. :) Oh, and Chris was putting my socks and shoes on my feet for me all week.

11:10 pm - New phone! I just got a new phone, and it's a beauty!  After wanting to flush my current phone for the past couple of years, my new LG Voyager is making me a happy, happy girl.  Curt has admitted to phone envy.  Did I mention the full QWERTY keyboard?!  I'm already a texting fool!
